In loving memory of Dodie Lawver

On behalf of Dodie's family, I would like to sincerely thank you for your generous gift to Dodie's memorial.  Throughout her life, Dodie deeply loved her family and friends and was a constant source of strength when anyone needed support.  Dodie chose Breakthrough T1D for her memorial gifts because of her great-grandson Daniel.  Daniel was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes three years ago when he was only five years old, and Dodie loved and supported Daniel and his family as they have navigated life after his diagnosis.  Daniel's family will participate in a walk organized by Breakthrough T1D on October 20th.  We will walk in honor of Dodie and the beautiful life she lived, and in support of Daniel and every other child living with T1D.  Dodie did not get to see a cure for T1D in her lifetime, but your contribution will help continue the vital research towards a cure.
