Breakthrough T1D Ride Honor Jerseys celebrate individuals who inspire and make us proud, on and off the bike. Discover the stories behind these special jerseys below and learn about their significance in the video above.

The infamous green jersey is awarded to our Top Fundraiser at each of the Destination Rides. This jersey goes to the individual who has raised the most money by Ride weekend (Friday at 11 am local time) and is awarded during Friday's Celebration Dinner so the recipient can wear it proudly on Ride Day. Lapel pins of this special jersey are awarded locally to the top individual fundraiser from each Chapter.

The coveted yellow jersey is awarded to the Top Recruiter at each of the Destination Rides. This jersey goes to the individual who has recruited the most new riders and is presented during Friday's Celebration Dinner so the recipient can wear it proudly on Ride Day. Lapel pins of this special jersey are awarded locally to the top recruiter from each Chapter.

The polka dot jersey is awarded at each of the Destination Rides to the person who exemplifies the spirit of the Breakthrough T1D Ride–going above and beyond to support their fellow teammates, showing selflessness and courage, and doing everything they can to drive toward cures for T1D. This jersey has been awarded to Riders, Coaches, and volunteers in the past. Lapel pins of this special jersey are awarded locally to the person who exemplifies the most spirit from each Chapter.

This jersey is awarded at Destination Rides to honor a youth rider between the ages of 13-17 that has a can-do attitude and is not afraid of trying what others consider impossible. They demonstrate leadership and selflessness at a young age – they are the future leaders of the Breakthrough T1D Ride. Lapel pins of this special jersey are awarded locally to a youth rider from each Chapter.

The Promise jersey is awarded at Destination Rides to someone who puts others before themselves and has shown unwavering dedication to Breakthrough T1D and the Ride. This jersey recognizes a person who does not have T1D but has made a promise to continue riding and fundraising until there are cures.

This jersey is awarded at Destination Rides to an enthusiastic individual who has volunteered their time throughout the year, who works hard on Ride Day, and who shows leadership and selflessness in their support of Breakthrough T1D Riders and Ride weekend volunteering duties. These volunteers are dedicated to our mission and are there to support our riders every step of the way.

This jersey recognizes and honors those riders who have completed 10 Breakthrough T1D Rides. Whether you register for a Destination Ride or My Ride, this jersey can be ordered as soon as you register so you can wear it proudly throughout the season and for your big ride.

Each jersey not only represents personal achievement but also our collective mission to improve lives and advance toward cures for type 1 diabetes.
