Bubba Sangster was diagnosed with T1D at 7 years old. T1D never stopped Bubba from achieving his dreams. Bubba had an A1C reflective of a non-diabetic through meticulous management. 

He was an exceptional athlete who played collegiate baseball and was an MLB draft prospect. He was a phenomenal boxer who competed in the ring with impeccable speed and strength.

He enjoyed being a father. He wore the title of “Daddy” with pride. He loves his daughter, Emma, more than life.

Bubba believed in kindness and comedy. His grin, smirks, and laugh directly resulted from his humor that will never be forgotten. 

Bubba displayed unwavering faith. His faith in God is where he found his strength to persevere through all challenges in life, including T1D.
