Calling all cyclists!!

We are excited to announce that we will once again have a Ford Motor Company – UAW Corporate Ride Team for Breakthrough T1D. The Ford Global Action Team for Breakthrough T1D invites you to join with fellow Ford employees, suppliers, dealers, and business partners from around the world, to ride in support of Breakthrough T1D in 2024. As a team, we will work together to raise funds for type 1 diabetes research.

In 2024, Ford Motor Company and Breakthrough T1D will celebrate 26 years of partnership. In those past 26 years over 75 million dollars has been raised globally. Do not miss this special season as we continue to celebrate this important partnership!

The official ride for the Ford Motor Company – UAW Corporate Ride Team will be Amelia Island, FF from December 5-8, 2024. Located in Northeast Florida, Amelia Island is an island oasis just 35 miles from Jacksonville. At this Breakthrough T1D Ride, you’ll cycle along pristine beaches, over marshlands and through beautiful maritime forests with mileage options up to 100 miles. With multiple distance options to choose from, this is a not-to-be-missed event. 

Breakthrough T1D Ride is for all cyclists — beginner or experienced — who share a commitment to Breakthrough T1D's mission. Your registration is your doorway into a ride experience unlike any other.

While we will continue to offer a flexible and virtual option, we are excited to offer an in-person cycling opportunity!
